Plone Courses @ LinuxWorld 2005

Associazione Zope Italia has organized two Zope / Plone courses at the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo 2005 in Milano.

The course is divided in two parts:

  • Il gestore di contenuti Plone: panoramica delle funzioni principali e della loro personalizzazione
  • Plone Enterprise: leveraging Plone and its Products
Both will be in italian, but we will try to produce some english material as well.

The first half day will be dedicated to discover Plone basics from installation to graphics to customizations.
The second half day will be a more advanced course, held by Vincenzo Di Somma (Reflab), about Plone2.1 new features and the use of important Plone modules for enterprise-class deployments:

  • Content versioning (CMFEditions)
  • Multilungual contents (LinguaPlone)
  • Staging and multisite (Multisite tool)
  • Flexible metadata (with Archetypes)
  • Advanced WYSIWYG editor (Kupu)
