Plone Sprint in Italy
Plone sprint in Sorrento (Naples), from march 27 to april 2, 2007. Maybe the biggest plone sprint ever is about to take place in Italy.
A Plone sprint is taking place in Italy on March: a seven days event to work on the next generation Plone (3.0 / 3.5) and also discuss non-technical aspects of Plone and open source software.
From the official plone.org announcement:
"An early spring sprint at a beautiful location on the Italian coast. The sprint will focus on topics of interest for Plone 3.5. Potential topics include custom membership, extending Plone's use of AJAX, content export/import, and much more."
In that occasion Xavier Heymans of Zea Partners will be helding a presentation about the work of Zea Partners with Zope / Plone; he will also talk about some important European projects and research results about open software as Qualoss, Flossimpact, Flossmetrics.
Vincenzo and Rosario of Reflab will be in Sorrento to give their contribution to the sprint, in particular on versioning, staging and Ajax, KSS issues.
